Touch screen, built in camera, scanner, WiFi, google map (hopefully google earth), google search, image search… all in one device. Like this way, when you can see a building through it, it gives you the image search result right on the spot.
Choose a building and touch a floor and it tells you more details of the building.
Well, it doesn’t have to be a building, but it can be any object you see. You can use it when you want to know a car model, an insect name, what kind of food is served at a restaurant and how much, who built a bridge, etc. etc.
It’s got a scanner built in, so you can use it this way when you want to check the meaning of a word in the newspaper, book, magazine, etc.
It would be much easier to read a real book. You can use the dictionary, wikipedia, thesaurus and anything else available on the web.
Here are some more examples of how you might be able to use the device I introduced before.
Many applications like these will be developed that have never been possible.

There are a lot more ideas drawn in my Moleskine, so I’ll introduce them later.
In the first place, generators and motors, and an input controller, coupled with an efficient energy storage device, the present invention can reduce the overall weight and complexities of mechanical power transmissions, while, at the same time, offer higher overall efficiencies. In addition, the energy output to the output drive device can be controlled, through profiling and with an output controller, to maintain constant output, independent of instantaneous input. Thus, in a human-powered vehicle, constant thrust can be maintained significantly increasing the vehicle efficiency, compared to the cyclical thrust or torque generated using a mechanical system. More specifically, human generators is off-grid applications or for when you just want a little exercise, the human Power Generator from Windstream Power can be pedaled or cranked by hand to charge 12 volt batteries and run small appliances. The product page says the average continuous power that can be generated by pedaling is about 80 watts; 50 watts if you're cranking by hand; a comment from Hugg by a user says 200 watts is attainable (300 if you're Lance Armstrong). The generator is available with a "Portable Power Pack" which includes a storage battery, 300 watt inverter (with 800 watt peak power), LED battery voltage readout, connection cables, and a 120 volt outlet to turn your calories into useful power. For anyone really interested in avoiding grid power, the company's wind turbines and solar applications can also be connected alongside the human power generator to cram even more energy into the power pack. If the Human Power Generators work well enough to power, it’s would be a very useful power in the future.
With the world's population growing largely, we have to think of ways to make cars that are better for the environment, and there is a large group of people in the world that they believe that if we go green, millions of people, will be get benefits. The "green" car has become popular in recent years. It means that a car is environmen-tally friendly. Today, most cars are powered by petrol. They make our lives easier, and there are lots of great things about them. But cars have also made problems for the environment. Two of the biggest problems are noise and pollution. One day, maybe we can help inventing a clean car that makes people, animals and plants happy! Electric cars are the most popular types of in the next 10 years. This might be because of the fact that every environmentalists begins with this type of vehicle. There are a few new types of cars that don't use petrol. We are still learning to make these cars better. The electric car is one of them. This car uses a battery for its power. When you're not driving it, just plug it in like a mobile phone to give yhe battery more power. Some electric cars are 97% cleaner than petrol cars because they don't make exhaust. What are the advantages of electric cars over hybrid automobiles? Electric cars are 100% emission-free, having no polluting byproducts, therefore they are cleaner than hybrid automobiles. They secure their power from batteries, the sun or hydrogen fuel cells. Battery-powered electric cars, besides being cleaner, are more fuel-efficient, get better mileage and have less moving parts to wear out. Cars powered by hydrogen fuel cells are emission-free, lightweight, compact, three times as efficient as gas engines, have excellent ranges, easy refueling and are totally safe. Therefore the primary advantages of electric cars over hybrid cars are their lower emissions and higher efficiency. In addition, another issue is cost of recharge. As the GM Volt will cost "less than purchasing a cup of your favorite coffee" to recharge. The Volt should cost less than 2 cents per mile to drive on electricity, compared with 12 cents a mile on gasoline at a price of $3.60 a gallon. This means a trip from Los Angeles to New York would cost $56 on electricity, and $336 with gasoline. This would be the equivalent to paying 60 cents a gallon of gas.
In conclusion, I believe that technology makes our life convenient and the next decade technological invention will soar. Both human generators and electric cars are better for the environment - I've heard discussions that that is only true if the electricity was generated on an eco-friendly way , and can be debated if the generation of the electricity would be done by for instance burning coal. This is true for make our life better. I believe in the future people can take more advantage from technology...So, I feel all those inventions may make people more aware that they should take care of the environment
Freightliner Innovation Truck may as well be a truck straight from the movie screens. Thanks to Daimler Trucks North America this gigantic truck managed to startle spectators during the Mid-America Trucking Show making the show an exciting one. This black truck is not Darth Vader in disguise but it is a product of the Cascadia aerodynamic solution. And despite its size and imposing look this truck is fuel efficient.
Equipped with the RunSmart Predictive Cruise system, the Freightliner Innovation Truck is able to evaluate the road being taken by the driver and it automatically calculates the most efficient speed vis a vis the fuel consumption. It is almost magical with the Dual Ride Height system which allows the tractor’s height to be lowered at highway speeds to pave the way for reduced under chassis drag.
The Freightliner Innovation Truck is the product of cutting edge technology that Daimler boasts of. Daimler Trucks North America Engineering and technology senior vice president Elmar Boeckenhoff said this kind of technology can be expected from the auto manufacturer in the near future.

The Nokia Morph is a concept mobile phone, created by Nokia, which shows what nanotechnology can bring to mobile devices: flexible materials, transparent electronics and self-cleaning surfaces. Stretchable and foldable, transformable to any shape a user can think of, Morph is the ultimate transformers gadget changing its shape according to the user's wishes. One day you have a bracelet, the next - you are up with a QWERTY device for messaging.
The device, which is non-functional, is intended to provide a conceptual showcase for future applications of nanotechnology in the realm of consumer electronics.
Morph concept technologies might create fantastic opportunities for mobile devices:
Newly-enabled flexible and transparent materials blend more seamlessly with the way we live
Devices become self-cleaning and self-preserving
Transparent electronics offering an entirely new aesthetic dimension
Built-in solar absorption might charge a device, whilst batteries become smaller, longer lasting and faster to charge
Integrated sensors might allow us to learn more about the environment around us, empowering us to make better choices
In addition to the advances above, the integrated electronics shown in the Morph concept could cost less and include more functionality in a much smaller space, even as interfaces are simplified and usability is enhanced. All of these new capabilities will unleash new applications and services that will allow us to communicate and interact in unprecedented ways.
Flexible & Changing Design
Nanotechnology enables materials and components that are flexible, stretchable, transparent and remarkably strong. Fibril proteins are woven into a three dimensional mesh that reinforces thin elastic structures. Using the same principle behind spider silk, this elasticity enables the device to literally change shapes and configure itself to adapt to the task at hand.
A folded design would fit easily in a pocket and could lend itself ergonomically to being used as a traditional handset. An unfolded larger design could display more detailed information, and incorporate input devices such as keyboards and touch pads.
Even integrated electronics, from interconnects to sensors, could share these flexible properties. Further, utilization of biodegradable materials might make production and recycling of devices easier and ecologically friendly.Self-Cleaning
Nanotechnology also can be leveraged to create self-cleaning surfaces on mobile devices, ultimately reducing corrosion, wear and improving longevity. Nanostructured surfaces, such as “Nanoflowers” naturally repel water, dirt, and even fingerprints utilizing effects also seen in natural systems.
Advanced Power Sources
Nanotechnology holds out the possibility that the surface of a device will become a natural source of energy via a covering of “Nanograss” structures that harvest solar power. At the same time new high energy density storage materials allow batteries to become smaller and thinner, while also quicker to recharge and able to endure more charging cycles.
Sensing The Environment
Nanosensors would empower users to examine the environment around them in completely new ways, from analyzing air pollution, to gaining insight into bio-chemical traces and processes. New capabilities might be as complex as helping us monitor evolving conditions in the quality of our surroundings, or as simple as knowing if the fruit we are about to enjoy should be washed before we eat it. Our ability to tune into our environment in these ways can help us make key decisions that guide our daily actions and ultimately can enhance our health.
Nokia released a computer-generated video demonstrating the capabilities the Morph might have if it were a real mobile phone. The manufacturer believes that some of the device's imagined features could appear in high-end devices by 2015.
