With the world's population growing largely, we have to think of ways to make cars that are better for the environment,and there is a large group of people in the world that they believe that if we go green, millions of people, will be get benefits.The "green" car has become popular in recent years. It means that a car is environmen-tally friendly. Today, most cars are powered by petrol. They make our lives easier, and there are lots of great things about them. But cars have also made problems for the environment. Two of the biggest problems are noise and pollution.
One day, maybe we can help inventing a clean car that makes people, animals and plants happy! Electric cars are the most popular types of in the next 10 years. This might be because of the fact that every environmentalists begins with this type of vehicle. There are a few new types of cars that don't use petrol. We are still learning to make these cars better. The electric car is one of them. This car uses a battery for its power. When you're not driving it, just plug it in like a mobile phone to give yhe battery more power. Some electric cars are 97% cleaner than petrol cars because they don't make exhaust.
What are the advantages of electric cars over hybrid automobiles? Electric cars are 100% emission-free, having no polluting byproducts, therefore they are cleaner than hybrid automobiles. They secure their power from batteries, the sun or hydrogen fuel cells. Battery-powered electric cars, besides being cleaner, are more fuel-efficient, get better mileage and have less moving parts to wear out. Cars powered by hydrogen fuel cells are emission-free, lightweight, compact, three times as efficient as gas engines, have excellent ranges, easy refueling and are totally safe. Therefore the primary advantages of electric cars over hybrid cars are their lower emissions and higher efficiency. In addition, another issue is cost of recharge. As the GM Volt will cost "less than purchasing a cup of your favorite coffee" to recharge. The Volt should cost less than 2 cents per mile to drive on electricity, compared with 12 cents a mile on gasoline at a price of $3.60 a gallon. This means a trip from Los Angeles to New York would cost $56 on electricity, and $336 with gasoline. This would be the equivalent to paying 60 cents a gallon of gas.

In conclusion, I believe that technology makes our life convenient and the next decade technological invention will soar. Both human generators and electric cars are better for the environment - I've heard discussions that that is only true if the electricity was generated on an eco-friendly way , and can be debated if the generation of the electricity would be done by for instance burning coal. This is true for make our life better. I believe in the future people can take more advantage from technology...So, I feel all those inventions may make people more aware that they should take care of the environment
Finally, we have substitute for petrol! I would buy such this cars!

ReplyDeleteI think that's only a start. We don't have a smart grid now. We don't have all those intelligent meters "talking" to our homes and potentially our cars. We don't have facilities to charge electric cars or to swap batteries when I'm on my way from San Francisco to San Diego, a trip just beyond the 300 mile range.

Auto designer Raphael Morais recognizes the challenges and has come up with a concept vehicle perfectly suited for such environment.

firstly, electric cars have the potential of significantly reducing city pollution by having zero tail pipe emissions. Vehicle greenhouse gas savings depend on how the electricity is generated. With the current U.S. energy mix, using an electric car would result in a 30% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. Given the current energy mixes in other countries.

Our current rate of fossil fuel usage will lead to an energy crisis this century. In order to survive the energy crisis many companies in the energy industry are inventing new ways to extract energy from renewable sources. While the rate of development is slow, mainstream awareness and government pressures are growing. Fortunately, by the innovation of new types of these electric cars in the next decade, people’s dependence on fossil fuel will remarkably reduce.
